Pull / Developing
Three-Point Kettlebell Row
Train one-arm pulling strength from a stable three-point base with the load below the body.
01 / Set up
Build the position.
- Support one hand on a stable bench and place both feet in a wide, balanced stance.
- Set the kettlebell beneath the working shoulder and grip the handle securely.
02 / Execute
Do the work.
- Row the kettlebell toward the hip while the trunk remains square to the floor.
- Stop before the shoulder rolls forward or the torso rotates to create height.
- Lower the bell under control until the arm is long and the stance remains stable.
Useful cues
Build a wide base
Pull toward the back pocket
Keep the floor square
03 / Troubleshoot
Common ways it drifts.
- Using torso rotation to finish the row
- Placing the kettlebell too far forward

What this page can claim.
Research can support a training category or expose a hazard without proving every stance, range, cue, or progression on this page.
2 evidence notes / 3 source linksResistance training is the supported category.
The 2026 ACSM position stand supports progressive resistance training for muscle function, hypertrophy, and physical performance in generally healthy adults, with multiple workable equipment and prescription choices.

Range and cues remain adjustable.
A systematic review found that resistance-training range can affect strength and lower-limb hypertrophy, while a separate review found that attentional-focus effects vary across lifting tasks and populations.
