Battle Rope Power Slam

Practice a controlled bilateral rope slam with a declared surface, anchor, clearance, and stopping boundary.

01 / Set up

Build the position.

  1. Set the rope on the declared anchor and confirm that the full downward path and floor contact area are clear.
  2. Hold both handles with a stance that lets the knees, hips, and trunk share the movement without losing the rope path.

02 / Execute

Do the work.

  1. Raise the handles only as high as the rope, shoulders, and trunk can stay controlled.
  2. Drive the handles down with a coordinated hinge and exhale while the rope contacts the declared surface.
  3. Return the handles without snapping the rope or letting the feet cross the marked lane, then stop before the surface or anchor changes.

  • Slamming onto a surface or threshold that was not checked for contact and clearance
