Sled Drag

Train a repeatable backward or forward drag while the strap, load, surface, and return lane remain visible.

01 / Set up

Build the position.

  1. Attach the strap or harness exactly as the manufacturer describes and leave a clear lane behind the sled.
  2. Choose a load or resistance that allows the first step, walking line, stop, and release to stay controlled.

02 / Execute

Do the work.

  1. Face the sled or the declared travel direction, brace the trunk, and take short steps until the strap is tensioned.
  2. Walk through the lane without wrapping the strap around the feet or letting the sled cross the marked line.
  3. Stop before the lane ends, lower the tension, and return the strap and sled through the planned path.
